IFTAAR DUA
Once Musa (A.S)asked Allah .
Allah You have grant me the honour and privilege of talking to You directly .
Have You given this privilege to any other person?
Allah replied.
O Musa ! I am going to send one ummat. ummat-e- Muhammadi.
They will call me (in supplication) at the time of Iftaar with
1. dry lips
2. parched tongue
3. emaciatd body
4. eyes sunken deep into their sockets
5. liver dry and;
6. stomachs suffering the pangs of hunger
They will be much closer to me than You.
O Musa! when you speak to me, there are 70,000 veils
between you and Me but at the time of iftaar, there will be not a
single veil between Me and the fasting ummati of Muhammad (s.a.w.).
O Musa! I have taken upon Myself the responsibility that at the time of iftaar,
I will never refuse the dua of a fasting person.
May Allah accept our all prayers and dua.
Ameen.

Thanks for sharing this valuable DUA.

ReplyDeleteThe beauty of Ramadan Mubarak is often a mystery to others of different faiths.
But your poetic writing shares Ramadan's need to bring people closer to their Greater One ... as you say fasting is a privilege.
Thanks to visit. We should understand the other religious point of view too.
